How long does the process take?
Once the firearm arrives and you complete the 4473, most background checks clear within minutes. Florida has no mandatory waiting period for long guns. Handgun purchases may have a 3-day waiting period unless you hold a valid concealed carry permit.
Can I transfer a firearm from a private seller?
Yes — out-of-state private party transfers must go through an FFL by federal law. We handle these the same as any dealer transfer.
What do I need to bring?
A valid government-issued photo ID (Florida driver’s license or ID preferred). If you hold a concealed weapons permit, bring that too — it can expedite the process.
